VSMU projects with high practical significance passed the ministerial stage of the "100 Ideas for Belarus" competition

100 ideas for Belarus 01On December 15, 2025, the interuniversity stage of the republican project "100 Ideas for Belarus" took place.

The VSMU projects presented at the competition are highly relevant and of great practical importance.

VSMU projects that received permission to participate in the ministerial stage of the competition include:

  • "Creation of the digital DermaCalc Pro platform for calculating the area, depth, and volume of skin lesions in clinical practice" (authors: Maxim Los, Slavyana Bogushevich);
  • "SarcScore application for early detection of muscle weakness" (authors: Olga Azarenko, Anna Antonysheva);
  • "Virtual Patient" (author: Elizabeth Ivanova);

as well as joint projects by students of Masherov VSU and VSMU:

  • "Intelligent system for optimizing antimicrobial therapy in maxillofacial surgery" by Milana Bogatyreva (VSU) and Julia Adameiko (VSMU);
  • "Artificial intelligence in dermatooncology: algorithms for recognizing melanoma from digital images of nevi" by Alexander Rudenkov (VSU), Igor Orekh (VSU), and Alexey Ostrovsky (VSMU).
