On December 18, 2025, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, the Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of India in Belarus, paid a working visit to Vitebsk State Medical University. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to develop long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation between the university and Indian educational and scientific institutions.

During the visit, the guest was introduced to the university’s rich history, shown the modern material and technical base, and provided with detailed information about the organization of the educational process, which meets international standards.

The Charge d'Affaires also met with Indian students at VSMU. They shared their experiences of life in Vitebsk, expressed positive emotions about studying at VSMU, and asked questions.
