As part of the cooperation agreement with Pskov State University and based on VSMU's membership in the "Russian-Belarusian University Union “TOGETHER”" Consortium, medical students from Pskov State University visited VSMU. This event marked an important milestone in the expansion of international collaboration between educational institutions of the two countries.

The trip was supported by the project "Organization of Popular Science Visits of Students from the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation to Universities of the Two Countries within the Framework of the Youth and Student Tourism Program." This initiative aims to strengthen friendly ties, develop inter-university exchanges, and broaden the educational horizons of young professionals.

During the visit, students had a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with the infrastructure of the partner university: they toured the modern medical laboratories of the Center for Molecular Genetic and Biotechnological Research and Scientific and Educational Center, and learned about the university's scientific directions and educational programs. This experience proved to be valuable and served as an incentive for their further professional development.

Additionally, Russian students took the chance to stroll through the picturesque historical center of Vitebsk, admire its architecture, and enjoy the atmosphere of the old city, enriching their cultural experience.

Such exchanges of experience and knowledge are an important step toward the development of an international educational space, which will undoubtedly benefit the future doctors of both countries.
