On December 16, within the framework of the Republican contest "Youth of Belarus for Life, Morality, and Family Values," presentations of projects by VSMU students were held. The projects included "Family and Spiritual and Moral Traditions of Belarus," "Restoration of Rural Temples in the Beshenkovichi District of Vitebsk Region," and "Excursions to Temples in the Vitebsk Region." These events took place for students residing in dormitories No. 3 and No. 5 in Vitebsk.
Ksenia Karmanovich and Elizaveta Batygina, students of the "five domitory", spoke about their participation in the projects. They presented their reports on family values, Belarusian traditions, local history studies, and organized excursions.
It is noteworthy that the interaction and exchange of ideas among participants of these educational projects provide opportunities to share knowledge and experience, foster the development of creative thinking, and enhance self-management, leadership, and organizational skills among young people.
On December 20, during a course meeting at the Stomatological Faculty, Polina Skachek, a second-year student, presented her project titled "Restoration of Rural Churches in the Vitebsk Region." The participants emphasized the importance of studying the history of our native land, as well as the cultural and spiritual traditions of the Belarusian village—our roots, unique way of life, and work that nurture and help unlock our potential in both studies and social activities.
