On December 23, 2025, in accordance with the work plan of the scientific and educational cluster "Medicine and Pharmacy — Innovative Projects," the II International Scientific and Practical Conference titled "Artificial Intelligence in the Modern World: Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Education" was held at VSMU in a hybrid format. Valentina Kugach, head of the cluster’s executive body, welcomed the participants of the conference.

The conference presentations focused on the application of artificial intelligence across various fields: digital transformation of the pharmaceutical industry, science, and education; AI approaches to personalized control of dental adherence through intraoral sensors; the use of generative artificial intelligence in designing protein target inhibitors and in teaching pharmaceutical chemistry; possibilities for employing artificial intelligence in early stroke diagnosis; diagnosis and treatment of maxillofacial diseases; AI applications in andragogy and pedagogy; in the armed forces; in student adaptation; in identifying hidden patterns in product ranges; and methodological issues related to recognizing artificial intelligence as an object of accounting.

Participants included employees of Sechenov University in Moscow, Russia, the Scientific Research Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, representatives from the following institutions: St. Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University (Ministry of Health of Russia), Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov, Vitebsk State Technological University, Polotsk State University (named after E. Polotsk), the Vitebsk Orders of the Badge of Honor State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Vitebsk UE Pharmacy, as well as representatives from other pharmacy organizations and the pharmacy system, students, and staff of Vitebsk State Medical University named after the Orders of Peoples’ Friendship.

In her closing remarks, the head of the cluster’s executive body emphasized the importance of the issues discussed at the conference, thanked the speakers for their interesting and informative reports, and expressed gratitude to all who participated in the events of the scientific and educational cluster "Medicine and Pharmacy — Innovative Projects" in 2025.
