On December 23, participants of the project "Family and Spiritual and Moral Traditions of Belarus," within the framework of the Republican contest "Youth of Belarus for Life, Morality, and Family Values," familiarized the 2nd-year students of the Sri Lankan of the Overseas Students Training Faculty with the local history research conducted and the history of the memorial sign installed on the territory of VSMU, initiated by the university leadership. One of the goals of the project is to familiarize students with Belarusian traditions and to foster interest in the country's historical and cultural heritage.

Additionally, on this day, participants of the project "Restoration of the Temples of Vitebsk Region," which aims at the spiritual and moral education of youth, gathered at the memorial sign on the site of the Church of John the Baptist. They summarized the results of their joint efforts and discussed the prospects for further development of the project.
