As part of the charity events "Goodness is Always Saving" and "Our Children," the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University visited the Vitebsk Regional Specialized Orphanage.

Alexey Chukanov, Rector of VSMU; Dmitry Kuzhel, Vice-Rector of Ideological and Educational Work; and Alexander Myasoedov, Chairman of the VSMU Staff Union Committee, presented cash certificates and hygiene products necessary for the young residents to Elena Mizerkina, the chief physician of the institution.

The funds raised with the active participation of VSMU staff and students will be used to improve the material and technical base of the Vitebsk Regional Specialized Children's Home.

As Rector Alexey Chukanov noted, "The importance of social partnership between educational and healthcare institutions cannot be overestimated. Such initiatives contribute not only to enhancing the material and technical resources of these institutions but also to fostering values of kindness and compassion among students."

Every year, cooperation between VSMU and the Vitebsk Regional Orphanage grows closer and more multifaceted, evolving into a strong friendship based on a shared desire to care for children. This meeting once again demonstrated that good deeds, coming from the heart, create the most lasting bridges between people.
