Staff of Vitebsk State Medical University continues their regular outreach work in the new year, providing comprehensive practical and methodological support to healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics of the Vitebsk and Mogilev regions.

Weekly, university faculty members travel to district clinics and central hospitals, where they conduct consultation receptions and educational activities. Leading specialists from the university, representing a wide range of medical disciplines – including therapy, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, dentistry, and gynecology – perform initial examinations, consult complex patients, thoroughly discuss clinical cases, and organize master classes and seminars on current diagnostic and treatment issues.

For example, on January 14, 2026, several VSMU specialists visited healthcare facilities in Orsha. Local residents had the opportunity to consult with university staff: Associate Professor of the Department of Faculty Therapy and Cardiology, Larisa Babenkova, and Senior Lecturer of the Ophthalmology Department, Lyudmila Medvedeva.

This systematic work holds significant social and professional importance. It not only enhances access to highly qualified medical care for district residents but also serves as a powerful tool for the continuous education of practicing physicians.
