On January 26, 2026, Yuri Anatolyevich Panfilov, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Industry, Energy, Transport, Communications, and Digital Development of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, met with the staff of VSMU at Vitebsk State Medical University.

The event, conducted in the format of an open dialogue, was dedicated to discussing key aspects of the Message of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, addressed to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly.

During a detailed and meaningful conversation, Yuri Anatolyevich elaborated on the main provisions and strategic guidelines outlined by the President in his Address.

Special attention was given to seven key aspects of the Program of Socio-economic Development of Belarus for 2026–2030, adopted at the All-Belarusian National Assembly. This program defines the country's development vector for the upcoming five-year period.

The discussion of these fundamental areas was accompanied by an analysis of the completed stage of development, summarizing the results of the previous five-year plan and highlighting our state's achievements in various fields.

The meeting was held in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere, providing university staff with the opportunity to learn in detail about the large-scale tasks of the country's future development.
