On January 30, 2026, Alexey Chukanov, Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University, met with recent graduates serving in the medical company of the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade.

The main focus of the conversation was on helping young professionals adapt to military service. Alexey Nikolaevich discussed in detail with the graduates their impressions of service, as well as the effectiveness of the training they received—both at the university’s military department and through the basic medical program.

The young specialists shared their experiences and highlighted the aspects of training that they found most useful in practice.

Alexey Nikolaevich emphasized the importance of such open exchanges: "It is extremely valuable for us to receive feedback and identify areas for improvement—what can be upgraded in our training system to better meet modern requirements, including under military service conditions."
