From January 26 to January 30, 2026, the III Winter Scientific and Educational School, titled "Modern Principles of Medical Rehabilitation of Athletes," was successfully held at the Department of Medical Rehabilitation of Grodno State Medical University.

The event brought together medical students from various regions of Belarus and Russia. From our university, fifth- and sixth-year students of the Faculty of Medicine—Anastasia Solovyova and Anastasia Stepankova—participated in the school.

During the event, participants familiarized themselves with the clinical facilities of the department, attended lectures by leading experts in sports medicine and rehabilitation, and analyzed clinical cases.

One of the most interesting and innovative activities was a master class on adaptive horseback riding, demonstrating its potential in preventing and rehabilitating musculoskeletal diseases. Participants also learned about methods of traditional Chinese medicine, including reflexology, Taijiquan gymnastics, and Qigong breathing practices. Additionally, students gained practical experience in techniques such as cupping kinetic massage and Gua Sha scraping massage.

Participation in the winter school provided an excellent opportunity to learn about best practices in sports rehabilitation and to broaden professional horizons.
