During the winter holidays, teachers of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language organized a visit to the Vitebsk Regional Methodological Center of Folk Art for the supervised groups of the Overseas Students Training Faculty.

The students explored exhibitions such as "Kalyadny Karagod," "Belarusian National Costume," and "Peravits" (embroidery on a grid). They also participated in workshops on ceramics and plate painting. This exposure to Belarusian crafts helped the foreigners not only learn more about the rich culture of the Belarusian people but also demonstrate their creative abilities.

The students visited the Vitebsk Regional Museum of Local Lore and Art, whose exhibitions sparked great interest among them, broadened their horizons, and introduced them to the history and culture of the Vitebsk region.

Despite the cold weather, the winter holidays were filled with positive emotions and vivid impressions for our students.
