The winter scientific and educational school, "Scientific and Practical Aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology," was held at Vitebsk State Medical University from February 2 to 6, 2026.

The event was attended by senior students of medical universities and clinical residents from higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.

As part of the school's program, participants learned about modern clinical guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver diseases, participated in clinical reviews of complex cases, and gained practical experience working in a microbiological laboratory.

Participation in this school allowed students to acquire essential clinical knowledge and practical skills for working with gastroenterological patients, as well as to lay a foundation for planning their own scientific research in this field.
