On February 19, 2026, 4th-year students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty at VSMU — future pharmacists — visited RUE Belmedpreparaty, the flagship of Belarusian the pharmaceutical industry.

Accompanied by experienced mentors — Ekaterina Chernyavskaya, Elena Frolova, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Organic Chemistry; Svyatoslav Stepin; and Sergey Dorozhko, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining — the students explored the production facilities.

The visit to one of the largest enterprises in the industry provided students with a unique opportunity not only to learn about the history of Belarus's pharmaceutical industry but also to see firsthand the modern technological processes. Future specialists observed high-tech equipment that complies with international quality and safety standards, ensuring the production of competitive products.

In addition to the technical aspects, the students learned about the range of manufactured drugs, scientific achievements, and ambitious plans for the development of the pharmaceutical industry.

To add some fun, the future pharmacists also tested their knowledge and attentiveness by actively participating in an engaging online quiz organized right during the visit.
