summed up session 01On February 20, 2026, the Pharmaceutical Faculty held a course meeting with 1st and 2nd-year students. The event took place in a professional and constructive atmosphere, with active participation from students and faculty administration representatives.

Elena Serak, Deputy Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty, addressed the students with a detailed analysis of the results of the winter examination session. She presented statistical data on interim assessment outcomes, analyzed academic performance indicators across courses and disciplines, and highlighted both positive trends and problematic issues. Special attention was given to the causes of academic debts and measures to eliminate them promptly.

Students were reminded of the importance of systematic preparation, academic discipline, and active engagement in the educational process. The best results were specifically acknowledged, and students facing difficulties were advised to seek timely advice from teachers and group supervisors.

The meeting also covered the importance of adhering to internal regulations, maintaining academic ethics, and taking responsibility for individual academic results. Emphasis was placed on forming professional competencies from the earliest courses, as these serve as the foundation for future pharmaceutical practice.

Lieutenant Kudryavtsev I.V., an officer from the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Internal Affairs Department of the Oktyabrsky district administration of Vitebsk, provided a preventive talk on digital security. He detailed common fraud schemes, including phone calls from pseudo-bank employees, phishing messages, and hacking social media and messaging accounts. He explained fundamental principles of personal data protection, safe use of bank cards and online payments, and outlined actions to take in case of attempted fraud.

Particular attention was paid to safeguarding personal property and finances, emphasizing the inadmissibility of sharing confidential information, confirmation codes, and passwords with third parties. The law enforcement officer urged students to remain vigilant and critical of any suspicious information received via phone or the internet.

At the end of the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive expert explanations.

Overall, the meeting helped increase students' awareness, reinforce academic discipline, and foster a culture of safe behavior both within the educational environment and in everyday life.
