On February 20, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a solemn Council meeting dedicated to the 42nd graduation of pharmacists from the Pharmaceutical Faculty by correspondence. Eleven graduates who completed their studies in pharmacy received diplomas.
Diplomas were awarded by the university rector, Alexey Chukanov, and the first vice-rector, Alina Shchupakova.
The ceremony was made more meaningful by the iconic moment of taking the "Oath of the Pharmacist of the Republic of Belarus" — an official pledge to uphold professional duties and ethical standards.
In his speech, Alexey Nikolaevich congratulated the young specialists on successfully completing their education and graduating from the university. He wished the graduates never to rest on their laurels, to confidently apply their knowledge in practice, and to wear the title of VSMU graduate with pride.
"Your graduation signifies that the pharmaceutical community of the Republic of Belarus has gained highly qualified specialists who will reliably provide the population with affordable, effective, and safe medicines," emphasized Alexey Chukanov.
Over the course of five and a half years of study, correspondence department graduates mastered the full cycle of pharmaceutical training. Now, a new stage begins — their professional activity in pharmacy institutions and healthcare organizations across the country.
