On February 24, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University, Order of Peoples' Friendship, began the preliminary job placement procedure for students graduating in 2026.

Olga Nikolaevna Kolyupanova, Head of the Main Department of Personnel Work and Vocational Education at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus; Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov, Rector of VSMU; university officials; representatives from all regional health departments of Belarus and the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee; as well as chief physicians of medical institutions are participating in the event.

Students from the Pharmaceutical and Stomatological Faculties were the first to receive their job placements.

108 future pharmacists were assigned their first jobs today: 21 trained through targeted programs, 30 funded by the state budget, and 57 as paid students.

The Stomatological Faculty graduated 99 students, including 20 target students, 28 state-funded, and 51 paid students.

The distribution procedure will continue until February 25, when students from the largest General Medicine Faculty will receive their job appointments.
