The international online conference titled "International Cooperation in the Organization of Educational Medical Production Practices: Opportunities and Prospects," organized by the partner university, was held at VSMU.

The event was organized with the participation of Izhevsk State Medical University and brought together representatives from leading medical schools across the Eurasian space.

Participants included representatives from higher educational institutions of Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

This broad geographical representation underscored the relevance of the agenda and demonstrated a strong common interest in developing the mobility of medical students.

The main focus of the discussion was the prospects for organizing academic exchanges of students during summer industrial practices. Representatives exchanged experiences in organizing practical training for future doctors, discussed the regulatory and legal aspects of international internships, and addressed issues related to recognizing practical skills acquired in foreign clinics.

As a result of the conference, preliminary agreements were reached on the development of bilateral academic mobility programs for summer internships scheduled for May-July 2026.
