One of the highlights of the competition was the presentation of national dishes. The participants turned the space into a welcoming home, where each table had its own history, its own traditions, and its own unique taste.
Representatives of VSMU from Nigeria, India, and Sri Lanka not only introduced the audience to the culinary heritage of their countries but also created a truly warm atmosphere. The performances were accompanied by national songs, dances, and the playing of traditional musical instruments—all of which organically complemented the gastronomic presentation.
The audience’s attention was captured by the performance of the Indian participant, Harini Srinivasan, and her team. They recreated a real Indian wedding ceremony, complete with a beautifully set wedding table and a solemn ceremony for the bride and groom.
