On April 16, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a scientific and practical conference with international participation "Actual problems of modern Dentistry", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Stomatological Faculty of VSMU.

The forum brought together representatives of leading clinical and academic schools not only in the Republic of Belarus, but also in the Russian Federation. Among the participants are guests from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Smolensk, as well as specialists from medical universities in our country.

The focus is on the key issues of the industry: the organization of dental care for the population, the training of dentists, current areas of orthopedic, surgical and therapeutic dentistry.

The section "Young Dental Scientists" was also held, where experts presented research results and shared innovative approaches in the treatment and prevention of dental diseases.

The event once again highlighted the high level of development of dental science and education at VSMU and served as a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and strengthening international cooperation.
