On April 22, 2026, a delegation from Vitebsk State Medical University headed by Ivan Martinkevich, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work at the Pediatrics Faculty, took part in the V Belarusian-Russian Student Forum "We Live and Remember", which brought together more than three thousand students from leading universities in Belarus and Russia, uniting them in an important mission — preserving historical memory. and the development of interstate cooperation.

First-year students of the Pediatrics Faculty Polina Stetskevich and Vasilisa Maksimovich made presentations on the role of women during the Great Patriotic War and the tragic pages of the genocide of the Belarusian people. The students' reports were awarded with certificates and memorable gifts.
