On April 24, 2026, a 1st-year student of the Overseas Stutents Training Faculty, Trikavala Ruvindu Keshava, made a presentation "Some data about malaria in Sri Lanka and the Republic of Belarus" (supervisor - Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Biology and General Genetics Yulia Masalkova) at the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference of Foreign Students and Undergraduates "Foreign Students - Belarusian Science", which took place in the Vitebsk Order of the Badge of Honor of the State Academy of Veterinary Medicine.

The student's successful performance was marked by the organizing committee of the conference with a Diploma of the first degree.

Participation in such forums not only opens up actual problems of modern science to students, but also contributes to an invaluable exchange of experience, broadening horizons and developing public speaking skills.
