On April 25, 2026, VSMU summed up the results of the joint educational project of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus "Start the Heart" for 10th grade students, which started earlier this spring.
Classes were held every Saturday at the university's simulation and certification center under the guidance of experienced specialists.
In addition to the basic skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the students mastered the algorithms of first aid for injuries, fractures and bleeding. The one—and-a-half-hour course was based on maximum immersion in practice: 30 minutes were devoted to theory, the rest of the time was spent practicing manipulations on modern dummy simulators.
This format allowed the participants not only to master the technique, but also to prepare psychologically for actions in an emergency situation.
