On April 28, 2026, the premiere of the film "One for Two" by the National Film Studio Belarusfilm took place at the cinema House cinema, which tells about the life and exploits of pilots, Heroes of Belarus Andrei Nichiporchik and Nikita Kukonenko.

In 2021, a Yak‑130 military aircraft crashed near Baranovichi. The disaster claimed the lives of two officers, Major Andrei Nichiporchik and Lieutenant Nikita Kukonenko. They decided not to eject, sending the plane to the only available space between residential buildings.

Students and staff of VSMU, led by First Vice-rector Alina Shchupakova, took part in the event.

Before the premiere of the film, Ivan Pavlov, the screenwriter and director of the film, spoke to the audience gathered in the hall, among whom there were about 100 representatives of our university.

The film screening for students and staff of VSMU was organized by the Department of Ideological and educational work with the support of the university's trade union committees and the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union".
