On April 30, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a solemn ceremony of raising the National Flag of the Republic of Belarus, dedicated to Labor Day.

The holiday, which unites representatives of different professions and generations, gives spiritual uplift and energy, is traditionally celebrated at VSMU.

After all, the concepts of Peace and Labor are eternal symbols of creation, the key to the development of society, strengthening the economy and improving the welfare of the people.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the administration, teachers and students of the university. Dmitry Kuzhel, Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, addressed the audience with a congratulatory speech.

The honorary right to raise the flag of the Republic of Belarus was granted to particularly distinguished university students.
