On the eve of Victory Day, the trade union organization of employees of Vitebsk State Medical University, together with the university administration, the primary organization "Belarusian Union of Women" of VSMU and the Council of Veterans, visited young prisoners of the Great Patriotic War and veterans of VSMU with congratulations on Victory Day and gifts from public organizations: Mikhail Alexandrovich Nikolsky (professor, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of VSMU), Lydia Grigorievna Savelyeva (an employee of the administrative and economic unit), as well as Gennady Aleksandrovich Khobotov, a child of the war.

The administration and public organizations of the university invariably surround veterans with warmth and care, and holidays become another reason to express gratitude and respect for their feat and work.
