On May 12, 2026, VSMU students and staff took part in the International Forum "Meaning. Life. The Future", which took place at the Cultural, Spiritual and Educational Center "Ark" (Minsk).

An important moment of the forum was the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the Republican contest of social youth projects "Youth of Belarus for life, morality and family values". About three hundred youth teams from different regions of Belarus took part in the competition.

According to the results of the Republican competition, the student innovation project "Family and Spiritual and Moral Traditions of Belarus" (curated by the project teacher-organizer Sergey Nazarev) took 1st place in the nomination "Youth for traditions for life!" and was awarded a diploma from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Pokrov Charitable Foundation for Family, Motherhood and Childhood Support.".

The Vitebsk State Medical University project has become a vivid example of the student youth's ability to take initiative and promote the revival of traditional national ideals.
