On May 12, 2026, the festive event "Victorious May" was held at the Stomatological Faculty.

The dean of the Faculty Lyudmila Belyaeva made a presentation on "The Great Patriotic War in person".

A touching story about the war and post–war years by Valentina Evdokimovna Volkova, a young prisoner of the Auschwitz concentration camp, a 1968 graduate of the medical faculty of our medical institute, and an excellent healthcare worker, made an indelible impression on everyone present.

The festival featured songs from the war years, songs about the Motherland and the main holiday performed by students of the faculty Kirill Novik, Milana Ayas, Polina Sachek, Stanislav Khilko, Kirill Novik's video for Victory Day was shown. The special atmosphere of the holiday "with tears in my eyes" was created by the presenters Arina Orel and Kirill Kozlov.

The festive program ended with a soldier's treat – buckwheat porridge with stew and tea, prepared in the field kitchen by servicemen of the 103rd Vitebsk Guards Airborne Brigade.

The event was attended by Dmitry Kuzhel, Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, Igor Lyatos, head of the Military Department, teachers of departments, curators of study groups, and students.

Different generations share the same values: love for the Motherland, pride in the feat of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, and our memory of the events of those distant days.
