On May 14, 2026, students of the Pediatrics Faculty of Vitebsk State Medical University and Kuban State Medical University held a joint online event dedicated to the most important topic of modern pediatrics - early detection and correction of neuropsychiatric disorders in children.

The meeting was opened by Elena Kosenkova, Head of the Department of Pediatrics No. 1, with the topic "Early correction of neuropsychiatric development in children", in which she voiced the possibilities of early intervention in the Vitebsk region.

Arina Gamezo and Alena Janoyan, students of the Pediatrics Faculty at VSMU, conducted a survey among moms and dads and shared the results in the report "Factors influencing the socialization of children."

Alyona Slutskaya, a student at VSMU, presented her paper "Diagnosis of developmental disorders in young children." She explained in detail how the early intervention centers work.

The guys from Kuban State Medical University have prepared an interesting practical part. They analyzed the clinical cases of autism in children, and also presented a report on "AVA therapy" (an effective method of behavioral correction).

Such meetings are a great opportunity for students from different countries to exchange experiences, learn how colleagues work in other regions, and together learn how to help young patients even more effectively.
