On May 14, 2026, students of the Overseas Students Training Faculty at VSMU from Russia took part in the meeting "Diplomacy as the Art of Dialogue and Partnership" with Igor Demyanenko, Head of the Department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vitebsk.

During the meeting, Igor Demyanenko spoke about the fate of Belarusian diplomats who participated in the Great Patriotic War, the art of building diplomatic relations, and the formation of a morally mature and spiritually developed personality capable of realizing responsibility for the fate of the Fatherland and his people.

During the meeting, the students asked their questions and received comprehensive answers, and learned more about the functions and work of the embassy.
