The medical forum "Healthcare of Belarus-2026" has finished its work in Minsk.
More than 200 participants from 8 countries demonstrated their developments at the forum's exposition: Belarus, Russia, Hungary, India, China, Latvia, Turkey and Switzerland. In parallel with the exhibition, a rich business program was organized, which included conferences, seminars and round tables.
Vitebsk State Medical University presented its key competencies: specialties in demand in practical healthcare, scientific achievements of staff and students, innovative methods of practice-oriented training.
Special emphasis was placed on the possibilities of simulation training, a unique environment for practicing practical skills on simulators of various levels of complexity and developing skills for rapid decision–making in critical situations. The special interest of the press and the public was aroused by the "Virtual Patient Medical Exam", a Belarusian development that can be used both for teaching students and for certifying practicing doctors.
Career guidance work with young people was also actively carried out, aimed at attracting motivated and talented applicants to the university.
