On May 12-15, 2026, Minsk hosted the Healthcare of Belarus-2026 forum: the 31st large-scale international exhibition of medical equipment, technologies and innovations. It was attended by a delegation of the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University, which included finalists of the V Republican contest of startup projects in the field of healthcare "MedicalStartup", as well as finalists of the republican youth project "100 Ideas for Belarus".

Within the framework of the exhibition, the Medical Startup Alley cluster was created, a platform for promoting advanced startup projects in medicine, the purpose of which was to demonstrate and promote promising medical projects.

Our university was represented by:

Vasily Kulagin with the project "Dobrotimiya, a diagnostic and assistance tool for people with anxiety and depression."

VSMU students had the opportunity to demonstrate their developments to visitors and participants of the exhibition, as well as present their projects worthily to specialized specialists — employees of the Russian Orthodox Church, medical institutions, and IT companies — during a pitch session on May 14.

The aspiring scientists received positive feedback from the expert committee, as well as a fresh perspective on the further development of their endeavors.
