In the period from May 11 to May 15, 2026, students and staff of the Pediatrics Faculty of VSMU took part in the republican action "Me and my family − against profanity." The main purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness among students and teachers about the negative consequences of swearing, to create a culture of communication and respect among students, as well as to involve students and their families in discussing the importance of purity of speech.

As part of the campaign, lectures, informational and curatorial hours were organized with the participation of Tatyana Ryabova, Dean of the Pediatrics Faculty, Ivan Martinkevich, Deputy Dean of the Pediatrics Faculty, as well as curators of student groups of the Pediatrics Faculty, where the influence of language on personality formation and cultural communication was discussed. There were also creative workshops where students created positive slogans and aphorisms to replace profanity. On May 15, a round table dedicated to Family Day was held. Students of the Pediatrics Faculty, as well as staff and curators of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 with a course of Faculty of Advanced training and staff Retraining, actively participated in its work.

Such initiatives are important for improving the atmosphere at the faculty and forming harmonious relations between students and teachers.
