On May 13 and 14, 2026, in accordance with the Roadmap for Career Guidance for the 2025/2026 academic year, the Faculty of Faculty of Preparatory Training Course at VSMU organized career guidance tours to the Simulation and Certification center and the Anatomical Museum of VSMU for students from Vitebsk and the Vitebsk region (Postavy).

The main purpose of the event is to visually demonstrate to applicants modern equipment for simulation training of medical students, as well as unique exhibits of the anatomical museum. This allows us to fully realize the concept of practice-oriented learning: to see and learn from what will become the foundation of the medical profession in the future.

During the excursions, the students were keenly interested in the specifics of admission and study at our university. A separate block of questions was devoted to targeted training – training on priority conditions, as well as obtaining a guaranteed job after graduation.

The events allowed the students to re-evaluate the importance of serious medical training and take a step forward towards a deliberate choice of the profession of a doctor.
