On May 16, 2026, as part of the VSMU Open Day, the Faculty of Preparatory Training Course conducted a career guidance tour for students of grades 9-10 of the State Educational Establishment Secondary School No. 30 named after D.B. Gvishiani in Brest.

During the tour, an open conversation took place about studying at a medical university.

The students received answers to questions about admission, including on the terms of targeted training, which gives applicants the opportunity to enroll on more competitive terms, and also guarantees employment after graduation, which is especially important for medical specialties.

This event helped students to better understand the value of fundamental medical training and take another step towards making an informed choice of the profession of a doctor.
