On May 21, 2026, information meetings were held at VSMU as part of a Single information Day on the topic: "Trends and new directions of tourism development in Belarus".

The large—scale event covered all faculties of the university — medical, dental, pediatric, pharmaceutical, as well as departments, structural divisions, clinical bases and student dormitories.

The participants discussed key tasks, achievements and ways of developing the tourism industry, paying special attention to medical and health tourism.

Developing the tourism industry and opening up Belarusian history and culture to the world are among the priorities of the current five—year plan, the achievement of which depends on every citizen of our country.

The main result of the events was to increase the motivation of students and staff to get to know their country better, discover new routes, and comprehend the unique national flavor of our amazing Belarus.
