From May 18 to May 22, 2026, the faculty and students of VSMU conducted extensive career guidance work in institutions of general secondary education in Vitebsk and Mogilev regions, working both in regional centers and in the most remote rural schools.

The purpose of the field meetings was to familiarize future applicants with the areas of training and current admission rules to the medical university, to inform them about the advantages of obtaining higher medical and pharmaceutical education on the terms of targeted training, the possibility of registration and issuance of contracts for targeted training of specialists.

Representatives of VSMU visited 200 schools, each of which held individual and group consultations for graduates, and a presentation of the university.

These meetings allowed not only to provide up-to-date information about admission and the benefits of receiving education on the basis of targeted training, but also to lay the foundation for the formation of the future human resources potential of the healthcare system of the region.
