On 19 March 2021, the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 20-th anniversary of Stomatological Faculty of VSMU under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and with direct participation of the departments of the Stomatological Faculty, as well as the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Orthodontics with the course of pediatric dentistry of BelMAPO, 3rd Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of Belarusian State Medical University, and Belarusian Republican Association of Dentistry specialists, was held at the educational establishment "Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University", Vitebsk.

The goals of the conference were to acquaint dentists-therapists, dentists-orthopedists, dentists-surgeons, dentists-orthodontists and maxillofacial surgeons with achievements of modern dentistry and new methods of diagnosis and treatment, as well as to exchange experiences in the effective treatment of dental diseases.

Practitioners in dentistry of Vitebsk and all regions of the Republic of Belarus took part in this conference.

Within the framework of the conference, based on longstanding experience, reports of Belarusian highly qualified specialists on the topics of the conference, taking into account modern clinical protocols, were presented, as well as solutions to urgent problems of the development of modern dentistry were determined. The conference would allow the establishment of closer contacts between scientists from different educational medical institutions of the Republic of Belarus, the exchange of scientific results and research experience.
