VSMU students being members of the student scientific circle of the Chair of General, Physical and Colloidal Chemistry, Hassan Nazimul and Eva Farzana Akther, took part in the 4th International Student Environmental Congress StEC-2021, which was held on November 26-27, 2021. The congress was organized by the Faculty of Chemistry, the Research Institute for Physical Chemical Problems of the Belarusian State University, the Educational Scientific and Production Republican Unitary Enterprise “UNITEHPROM BSU”, the Research and Production Republican Unitary Enterprise “Unidragmet BSU”, as well as the team of the student project “Shadow day BSU”. 

A fourth-year student of the Overseas Students Training Faculty, Hassan Nazimul, made a presentation entitled “Tuberculosis in Bangladesh and its Treatment by Medicinal Plant”, whereas Eva Farzana Akther gave a presentation “The Use of Medicinal Plants for the  Treatment of Dengue Fever in Bangladesh” (Research Supervisor: Z.S. Kuntsevich, the Head of the Chair of General, Physical, and Colloidal Chemistry). Both students received diplomas for the best reports in the section “Ecologization of the Educational Process, Scientific Research, and the Formation of an Ecological Culture of Modern Youth”. In addition, their reports were selected as the best in the section “International Eco-Cooperation and Culture” in the nomination “Environmental Medicine”.
