Within the framework of bilateral cooperation between VSMU, Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P.Pavlov (Ryazan State Medical University) and Astana Medical University (AMU), summer schools are organized for students, the purpose of which is to exchange experience, get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the partner country.

On the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus on July 2, 2022, an excursion "Minsk - Stalin Line Complex" was organized for our guests. During the excursion, students of Ryazan State Medical University and AMU visited such iconic sights of Minsk as the National Library of Belarus, Trinity Suburb, the Island of Tears. Our guests were able to enjoy the views of Minsk from the height of the observation platform of the National Library of Belarus, learned the history of the city from its foundation to the present day, walked along the old and modern streets of the capital.

The final point of the route was the historical and cultural "Stalin Line Complex". Here our guests had the opportunity to visit the XVI Festival “Bagration” – a large-scale military-historical reenactment of the events of the Great Patriotic War that took place on June 28, 1944 during the Belarusian Operation Bagration.

Our guests received incredible emotions from such a large-scale performance.

The emotions received from the journey will remain in the memory of our guests for a long time!
