On January 28 and 29, an event dedicated to the celebration of the Chinese New Year, organized by the Center for National Cultures, was held in the lobby of the Vitebsk Concert Hall.

During the grand opening of the celebration, there was an entertainment concert program, a food zone with real Chinese food, souvenirs, Chinese New Year calligraphy, and even a huge dragon!

Students of the Overseas Students Training Faculty from Sri Lanka took part in this bright event: in the exhibition of Chinese lanterns "SiYai". The students brought hand-made lanterns as decorative elements of past national holidays in Sri Lanka. All participants were awarded Certificates of Appreciation. 

A wonderfully spent evening allowed us to get to know Chinese culture and enjoy the unforgettable atmosphere of the East.
