In accordance with the decision of the administration of Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University the discount on tuition fee for the first year of study was established according to the results of the entrance examinations for the following foreign students.

Within the frames of joint cooperation of the Laboratory of Innovative Pedagogy, the Distance Learning Department and curators of groups of foreign students (Department of General and Physical and Colloid Chemistry, Organic Chemistry), a round table revealing the problems of distance learning in English was held on March 13, 2019. The moderators of the round table were: G. Sinkov, Head of Distance Learning Department, Z.S. Kuntsevich, Head of Department of General Physical and Colloidal Chemistry, O.A. Khodos, Head of Department of Organic Chemistry.

On February 21-22, 2019, the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy of EE "Vitebsk State Medical University" hosted the Olympiad on operative surgery with international participation dedicated to the 85th anniversary of VSMU. Such medical universities as Smolensk State Medical University (SSMU), Belgorod State National Research University (NRU BelSU), Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov (RNRMU) and Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University (VSMU) took part in this competition by sending their teams of six 3rd – 6th year students.

VSMU in cooperation with Kaplan Medical, the world leader in USMLE preparation, announces the program for foreign students to pass the USMLE exam series in order to become a certified doctor to practice medicine in USA. International students from other medical universities are welcomed to participate in this program as well.
