Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University was awarded with Gratitude from the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin "For active participation in organizing and holding the events of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia".

On September 16, 2024, a meeting was held between VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov and student volunteers, during which Alexey Nikolaevich thanked the students for their active participation in ensuring the work of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia.

A large-scale football tournament "Finesse Cup", organized by VSMU students of the Sri Lanka community, took place on September 14, 2014, on the field of FC "Vitebsk".

Six teams of students of the 1-5 courses took part in the competition. The 4th year team "Exorians" won the tournament. It is noteworthy that the first-year team "Dravancorse" took second place in the tournament. The best players received prizes and medals.

Such sports events help in the adaptation of foreign students and strengthen friendship!

On September 17, 2024, a solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus, dedicated to the Day of National Unity, was held at Vitebsk State Medical University.

The event was attended by the VSMU administration, students, teachers and staff of the university.

From September 13 to 15, 2024, the Republican rally of students of higher education institutions was held in the Berezinsky district of the Minsk region, as part of the Republican Universiade - 2024.

The VSMU team competed for three days in the sports and competition program of the tourist rally.
