On February 23, 2024, the festive event dedicated to the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus was held at VSMU.

The Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University Alexey Chukanov, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolai Dorofeev, the Colonel of the Medical Service as well as the Head of the Military Department Igor Lyatos, the Head of the Department of International and Interregional Relations as well as the Chairman of the Public Association “Belarusian Union of Women” of VSMU Elena Sharykhina addressed those present with words of congratulations.

The representatives of Samarkand State Medical University visited Vitebsk State Medical University.

The Dean of the Faculty of Joint Education Abdurakhmanov Diyor Shukurulaevich and the Head of the Department of Surgery, Endoscopy and Anesthesiology-Resuscitation Kurbanov Nizom Azizovich got acquainted with the work of the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy.

During the meeting of representatives of Samarkand State Medical University with the rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov, the issues of expanding bilateral cooperation were discussed and the mechanisms of interaction were determined.

On 19/02/2024, dialogue platforms were held at Vitebsk State Medical University with the 4th year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Pediatrics on the topic of the upcoming elections on a single voting day on February 25, 2024.

The Vice-Rector for Educational Work of VSMU Natalya Boltrushevich, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Natalya Lapova, the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Pediatrics Elena Batalkina, and the employees of the Department for Educational Work with Youth took part in the dialogue platforms.

The delegation of VSMU, headed by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalya Boltrushevich, took part in the Republican holiday “Brest - the youth capital of the Republic of Belarus - 2024”.

The event took place on February 15-17, 2024, in Brest, and was attended by about 400 young people from all over Belarus - members of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus; representatives of the student volunteer movement; representatives of the Council of Working Youth under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus; leaders and activists of youth associations, etc.
