On May 22, 2024, a press conference was held at the media center of the Vitebsk region on the features of the entrance campaign in 2024, which was broadcast on the YouTube Internet platform.
The conference was opened by the head of the main department of vocational education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus - Sergei Pishchov.
On May 21, 2024, a dialogue platform was held with the participation of the Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of the Execution of Legislation in the Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk Region, Senior Adviser of Justice I.V. Metelitsa with the 3rd year students (1st stream) of the Faculty of Medicine. Igor Vladimirovich briefed those present on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.
At the invitation of Ulyanovsk State University, the 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine of VSMU Kirillova K.V. under the guidance of the Head of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation with the course of FAT and PR, the Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Olenskaya T.L. - prepared the project “Studying the effectiveness of rehabilitation methods in the prevention of falls syndrome in middle-aged and older people”, which reached the finals of the VII International competition of youth projects in the field of medical rehabilitation “Rehabilitation+”.
On May 17, 2024, the Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology Irina Shchurok took part in the II North Caucasus Conference of Allergists and Immunologists with the international participation in Grozny.
On May 23, 2024, at the educational establishment "Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University" at the address: lecture hall No. 8 of VSMU and the assembly hall of the Health care institution «Vitebsk Children’s Regional Clinical Hospital», Vitebsk, Shradera str., 7, a republican scientific and practical conference “Current issues of pediatric practice” will be held in person and online format, dedicated to the memory of Professor I.M. Lysenko.
Objectives of the conference: increasing the level of knowledge of doctors about modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of childhood diseases, sharing scientific and practical experience, improving ideas about an interdisciplinary approach in the prevention and treatment of diseases in children.
