From October 10 to October 27, 2023, the Faculty of Pre-University Training of VSMU organized career guidance excursions with the 1-2 year students of the educational establishment “Vitebsk State Medical College named after. Academician I.P. Antonov." More than 200 students of the medical college visited the anatomical museum as part of the excursions and, thanks to the teachers of the human anatomy department, learned a lot of interesting information about the museum exhibits. During the excursion, the guys asked questions that interested them about the structure of the human body, and got acquainted with the structure of the anatomical museum and the university as a whole.

October 27, 2023 on the basis of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after. Maxim Tank hosted a republican seminar chaired by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanets “Key problems and prospects for diversifying the export of educational services.” The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU Denis Lits and the Head of the Department of International and Interregional Relations of VSMU Elena Sharykhina.

The regional stage of the republican project “Student of the Year” was held on October 26, 2023,  at VSU named after. P.M. Masherova. 13 participants from 6 universities of the region competed for the title of the best student of the Vitebsk region and the right to represent their region in the finals of the republican competition. Participants competed in three competitive tests: “Business Card”, “Public Speaking” and “Creative Competition”.

On October 26-27, 2023, the delegation of VSMU consisting of the head of the department of general dentistry with a course of orthopedic dentistry, TTC and ATC Eduard Machkalyan, Sardar Farkhadzade and Stanislav Semukov; the Associate Professor of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Dentistry with a course of TTC and ATC Anna Goncharova took part in the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovative Technologies of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation”. During the event, the representatives of the Department of General Dentistry with a course in Orthopedic Dentistry demonstrated the practical skills that students of the Faculty of Dentistry learn and provided an opportunity for students of other universities and specialties to try themselves as a dentist.
