On October 5-6, the 2nd Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus is being held at BSUIR. Rectors of more than 50 universities in Belarus and Tajikistan gathered to participate in the forum events.

As part of the forum, the rector of Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University Alexey Chukanov and the rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University (ATSMU), named after Abuali ibn Sino, Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Kurbonali signed a cooperation agreement.

On October 5, at VSMU, as part of the Republican project “Freshman Headquarters,” an open dialogue between first-year students and the leaders of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union “The Youth Union is a great start for your development” took place. The speakers of the event were the vice-rector for educational work of VSMU Natalya Boltrushevich, the first secretary of the Vitebsk regional committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union Vladimir Babichev, the first secretary of the Vitebsk city committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union Artur Vitol, the secretary of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union of VSMU Natalya Gaponko.
