Career guidance event “Become a VSMU student for one day”

On November 1, 2023, as part of the career guidance event “Become a VSMU student for one day,” students of schools and medical colleges had the opportunity to feel like students of the pediatric faculty of VSMU. Future applicants attended a lecture on medicinal chemistry, practical classes in pediatrics, and became familiar with the nutritional characteristics of children. Future students also had the opportunity to participate in resuscitation of a newborn. The children showed great interest in the profession of pediatrician, neonatologist, and pediatric surgeon.

Creative teams of VSMU took part in a gala event dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League and the October Revolution Day

The gala event dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League and the October Revolution Day was held in the Vitebsk concert hall. The guests of the event were congratulated by the creative groups of VSMU with their performances: the sports ballroom dance ensemble “Quickstep”, the pop song studio “Tandem”, the folk dance ensemble “Millennium”.

Victory of the VSMU women's volleyball team

From October 30 to November 1, 2023, the final stage of the Republican Student Volleyball League among women's teams in the program of the Republican Universiade 2023/2024 was held in Minsk at the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus.

The VSMU women's volleyball team won a landslide victory in all games and took the first place in Group A of the fourth division.

Competition for filling positions of teaching staff

The educational establishment "Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University" announces a competition for positions: assistant, teacher, senior teacher, associate professor, professor, head of department.

Opening of the art exhibition “Traditions and Innovation”

On November 1, 2023, as part of the cooperation between VSMU and VSU, the opening of the exhibition “Traditions and Innovation” of creative works by students of the art and graphic department of the VSU named after P.M. Masherov took place at the university. Cooperation between Vitebsk Medical University and the Faculty of Art and Graphics began in 2015, during which time about 10 exhibitions were organized, including creative works of the VSMU students.
