Table tennis tournament “Cup of the Rector of VSMI (1979-1996), Professor M.G. Sachek"

On November 11, 2023, VSMU hosted a table tennis tournament “VSMI Rector’s Cup (1979-1996), Professor M.G. Sachek”, which included more than 20 teams from healthcare organizations in the Vitebsk region and a team from VSMU. The chairman of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers Vladimir Plytkevich and the Vice-Rector for Educational Work of VSMU Natalya Boltrushevich addressed the participants and guests of the sporting event with a welcoming speech.

On November 1-3, 2023, the International Dental Forum was held in Minsk, which included the exhibition “Dentistry of Belarus-2023” and the IX Belarusian International Dental Congress.

VSMU students took part in the V City Youth Student Educational Forum “STUD.FORUM”

VSMU students took part in the V City Youth Student Educational Forum "STUD.FORUM", held on November 3-4, 2023, at the Losvido TRC. The event started with an open dialogue with the participation of Viktor Glushin - the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, the Head of the Department of Ideological Work of the City Executive Committee Natalya Sokolova and the First Secretary of the Vitebsk City Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union Artur Vitol, where the issues of free travel on public transport and the introduction of a new public transport route in the city of Vitebsk and much more were discussed.

This day has become a symbol of the transformation of life, the memory of the enthusiasm of the first Soviet construction projects, admiration for the courage of those who defended the Motherland, who believed in a bright future and went to great lengths in the name of an idea.

For our republic, the events of that time opened the way to national self-determination and its own statehood. With the name of the October Revolution we associate numerous victories, accomplishments and labor achievements of our people, which to this day continue to be the subject of our special pride.

On this holiday, I wish you and your family good health, happiness, peace, new labor achievements for the benefit of the Republic of Belarus!
