From October 3 to October 5, the QUEST “CULTURE OF THE BELARUSIAN PEOPLE” will be held in the VSMU library.

From September 21 to 23, 2023, the Republican tourist gathering of students of the Republican Universiade 2023 was held on the territory of Berezinsky district of Minsk region (Zhornovka village). 17 teams from higher educational establishments of the Republic of Belarus, including VSMU students, took part in the gathering. Our university team, led by coach Alexey Vasyokha, senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Education, competed in the sports and competition program during three days.

As part of the “Unified Security Day”, on September 21, the Fire Safety Engineer in cooperation with the staff of Vitebsk City Department of Emergency Situations and VSMU held a practical training on evacuation plan from buildings of dormitories No. 7 and No. 8.

On the basis of Sports School 3, a solemn opening of a memorial plaque in memory of the honored coach of the USSR, Honorary Citizen of Vitebsk Valery Kondratenko took place. The event was attended by representatives of Regional Executive Committee and City Executive Committee, pupils of Valery Kondratenko and veterans of sports of VSMU.
